Raphael: The Warrior

Ta-daaa!
Aquí esta el segundo de la serie de cuatro pics que estoy haciendo de mis adoradas tugas
Al igual que el dibujo de Donatello [link] este fue hecho primero a lapiz, luego lo escanie y lo vectorice. Solo que a diferencia del anterior, este lo saque mucho mas rapido, a lo mejor hice cayo o algo XD

En fin, en esta ocasión le tocó el turno al número dos de mi lista de "Tortugas Consentidas": Rafael.
Aunque este fue un caso curioso.... En el caso de Donatello, el ha sido el numero uno desde que los conocí hasta la fecha, pero en el caso de los otros tres..... Jijos! Creo que todos han estado cambiando de lugar, aunque ya se han ido definiendo un poco mas (creo X3)

En un principio, cuando recién los conocí por la película... debo decir que Rafael fue el que menos me gustó Me desesperaba que era demasiado amargado X3 Vivía de pleito con los demás, especialmente con Leonardo, y siempre hacía lo que le daba la gana.... peeeero.... estamos hablando de cuando yo era una chiquilla ñoña de 9 años Luego, viendo la serie viejilla... le fui agarrando gusto, pero seguía siendo el que menos me llamaba la atención. Aunque sus comentarios sarcásticos si me daban mucha risa Y pues bueno, a mi la fiebre de las Tortugas Ninja en aquellos años me pegó bastante duro y por mucho tiempo (jaja, hasta la fecha no ha desaparecido, solo esta algo mas controlada..... creo.... X3.... ) y por aquellos años, mi familia y yo ibamos a Mc. Allen, Texas de perdido una vez al mes.... en uno de esos viajes en un lugar donde vendían comics vi uno de mis adoradas tugas, no de los originales de Mirage. Estos eran llamados "TMNT Adventures" y eran publicados por "Archie comics" Sip, "Archie"... sip, la misma que publica los comics de ese pelirrojo que vive en Riverdale... Pero el comic de las tortugas no tenia nada que ver con las odiseas de la pandilla de Riverdale... Me fui haciendo de varios numeros de ese comic, puesto que era publicación mensual y nosotros ibamos mucho a E.U. en ese entonces.... Solo se me habrán pasado unos dos o tres.... hasta que se vino el relajo del '94 que hubo aquí en México, y pues ya nuestra economía no nos permitía seguir dandonos ese lujillo, y debido a esto, se me fueron pasando muchos numeros hasta que finalmente les perdí el hilo
Ese comic me gustaba mucho, era como el punto medio entre la serie antigua y el comic original, mas aparte, había varios personajes muy carismáticos, como es el caso de Ninjara, una zorra ratera que terminó teniendo una relación sentimental precisamente con Rafael (Iralo, pillín Quien lo viera! XD) Las historias eran algo mas serias que la caricatura, pero no tan oscuro como los comics de Mirage.... Me encantaba! Y pues fue por medio de esos comics que fui agarrandole sabor a Rafael; si bien era mas parecido al amargado de la película que al sarcástico de la serie original, no se que habrá tenido, que me fue gustando cada vez mas, hasta que finalmente rebasó a Leonardo y Miguel Angel y se colocó en el segundo lugar de mi preferencia Sobre los comics esos, todavía los conservo peeeero.... están en pésimo estado X3 Si pudiera viajar en el tiempo le diría a mi otra yo:
"Eh! Cuida MUCHO esas cosas...!!" Y no solo los comics, tambien las figuras que tenía de She-Ra, He-Man y mis ponys!! X3 Pero bueno, eso ya es otra historia XD
Y bueno, el caso es que Rafael se posiciono en mi numero dos y ahí se ha mantenido hasta la fecha y dudo que el lider o el bromista lo quiten de ahi Como cambia uno con el tiempo... hace años Rafael era el que menos me gustaba por amargado, y actualmente es de mis consentidos por lo amargado precisamente X3 (tienden a gustarme los amargados antisociales X3) Aunque bueno, estoy casi segura de que en parte es porque veo parte de mi reflejada en el De hecho creo que tengo un poco de cada uno de estos 4, y en el caso de Rafael es precisamente que cuando me enojo soy igual de impulsiva que el X3 Solo que yo tengo mucha mas paciencia XD Quien sabe, me pongo a alucinar y pienso que, TALVEZ, si los hubiera conocido apenas.... Probablemente sería incluso mi numero uno... cosa que ahorita veo poco probable, pues el cariño que le tengo a Donatello es demasiado grande


Y bueno, creo que no tengo mucho que agregar.... Solo una cosita mas....
Este pic se lo quiero dedicar a una chica que se que tambien es muy grande admiradora de las Tortugas, y cuyo favorito es Rafael. Estoy hablando de la genial
Amiga, hace muchísimo, cuando subi este pic [link] hice la pregunta de ver quien le atinaba al verdadero color de mi bola peluda, Coco Y Anael fue la primera en mencionar la respuesta correcta, y le dije que le daría un dibujillo Y bueno, aunque ya pasó mas del año, aquí está

Here's the second on a series of four pic I'm doing of my adored ninja turtles
Just like Donatello's [link] this picture was first drawn on my sketch book, then scanned and vectorized line by line. But unlike Donnie, this was done so much faster. Maybe because I had a little more experience XD

Anyway, now it was the turn of number two in my "Favorite Turtle" list: Raphael
But his case is weird... unlike Donnie, who has always been my number one......the other three turtles have been exchanging places the whole time, but I think they're starting to define a little more (I think X3)

In the beginning, when I first met them in the movie.... I gotta say Raph was the only one I didn't like He got on my nerves, always fighting with the others, specially with Leo, always doing as he pleased.... buuut.... we're talking about the time when I was a corny little goody-goody 9 years old Then, with the old animated series.... I kinda started to like him, but he still was the one I liked least. Altough his sarcastic comments did make me laugh At the time, the Ninja Turtles fever was very
strong on me, and it lasted for many many years (haha, even now it's not completely gone, only a little controlled.... I think.... X3....) and it happened that on those days, my family and I used to go once a month to McAllen, Texas.... on one of those trips, I discovered a comic of my beloved turtles, but not the Mirage ones. These ones were called "TMNT Adventures" and were published by "Archie comics" Yep, "Archie"... yep, the same company that published the comics of the red head who lives in Riverdale... But the turtles' stories had nothing to do with the Riverdale gang I started to buy those comics, and since we went to the US once a month and the comics were a monthly publication I got a lot of issues. I only missed two or three on the
time I was buying it... until a huge economic problem that happened here in Mexico on '94 and my family and I couldn't travel as much as we used to, it meant less visits to Mc Allen, and that meant... less turtle comics. I started to miss more and more issues, until I finally had to forget about it since I couldn't follow the stories anymore
I loved that comic series, it was kind of a mixture between the old animated series and the comics by Mirage, and besides there were a lot of charismatic characters such a Ninjara, a fox-lady thief, who had a romance with Raphael precisely (look at him Who would've thought! XD) The stories were very well written and a little more serious than the old tv series, but not as dark as Mirage's publications... I loved it! And it was because those comics that I started to like Raphael more and more, even when he was the same hotheaded guy from the movies, can't really say what he had that made me start to love him more, until he finally overcame Leo and Mikey and became my second favorite of the four turtles About those comics, I still have them buuuuut... they're in awful condition X3 If I could bo back in time, I'll tell my other self
"HEY! Take GOOD care of those things...!!" And not only those, but also my He-Man and She-Ra figures, and my ponys!! X3 But well, that's another story XD
The point is that Raphael is my second favorite, and he's been there for many years until today, and I doubt that the leader and the jokester will get him out of there
It's weird how much one can change as time goes by.... years ago, Raphael was the one I didn't like because of his temper, and now the is one of my favorites because of his temper X3 Or well, maybe because I saw part of myself in him. In fact I think I've got a little from each turtle, and in Raph's case, it's the impulsive thing. Although I've got much more patience than him
Who knows, sometimes I start thinking that, MAYBE, if I had just met those characters... Probably Raph would be my number one (I tend to go with the antisocial ones)... but it's something really hard to picture, my love for Donnie is just so big

I guess that would be it, not much to add... Just one more thing....
I want to dedicate this picture to a girl who I know is a big fan of the turtles, too, and I know Raph is her favorite.
I'm talking about My friend, a while ago, when I uploaded this pic [link] I asked who would guess the real color of my hair ball character, Coco
She was the first to say the correct answer, and I told here I would give her a picture for having the right guess first Even when it's been more than a year, here it is
